September 27, 2023

Carolyn H. Williams, 90, of DeWitt, Arkansas, was delivered into God's arms on September 16, 2023.

She peacefully entered heaven's gates surrounded by her loving family.

Carolyn was born on April 17th, 1933, to the late Hazel and Otmar Hageman, in Bayou Meto, Arkansas. She married the love of her life Tommy Williams on January 7th, 1955 in a double ceremony with her sister Betty and brother- in- law Walter Simmons. Together Tommy and Carolyn shared life together for 57 years.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister to all her family who loved her immensely.

Carolyn was a committed employee of the DeWitt Bank and Trust for 47 years where she and her sister Betty worked side by side. Imagine the changes they saw in the banking industry through the years. She retired as the Assistant Vice President and Head Teller. Carolyn and Tommy called DeWitt home, but later in life, they moved to Roland, Oklahoma, to be near their two children, Scott Williams and Pamela Williams Beaton. Scott's fondest memories were of all the fishing trips he took with his mom and grandad.

Carolyn was an excellent cook and oh how we will miss her meals especially her Nana noodles. She could often be found with a needle in hand, making the finest keepsakes. She held her family dear to her heart and loved big. especially her children and grandchildren.

Carolyn leaves behind her children, Scott Williams and wife Stephanie of Roland, Oklahoma, and Pam Beaton of Roland, Oklahoma; grandchildren Kyle Beaton and wife Lindsay of DeWitt, Arkansas, Reid Williams and wife Alexis of Alvin, Texas, Robert Anderson and wife Lexi of Roland, Oklahoma; two great-granddaughters, Anna Claire and Aubrey Cate Beaton of Dewitt, Arkansas. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of close friends.
