John Carl Keaton, Jr

John Carl Keaton, Jr., 61, of Almyra died August 20, 2023. He was born July 22, 1962, in DeWitt to John Carl Keaton, Sr., and Shirley Wood Keaton.

Johnny loved hunting, fishing, and trapping, and he always liked raising a garden. He was a member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Casscoe.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Carl and Shirley Keaton; his stepmother Bonnie Keaton; and sister Karla Fox.

Johnny is survived by his sons Cody and Calem Keaton; two brothers Chris (Ruth) Keaton of Proctor and Travis Fisher of DeWitt; three sisters Lynnette Saunders (Van) of Heber Springs, Priscilla Bennett (Charles) and Barbara Keaton (Wayne) both of DeWitt; many nieces and nephews; and his dog, Max.
