SJHS History Projects
The Stuttgart Junior High held their History Project competition that will see them moving on to the Region 4 History Day Contest at UAM on March 11th. They will be competing against Clarendon and Pine Bluff.
William Washburn and Virginia Cagle are the sponsors of the event. According to Washburn, “We will be focusing on taking the feedback from our judges and refining our projects to get them in shape to compete against Pine Bluff and Clarendon.”
The turnout to see the projects was well attended by parents and participants alike.

2nd Place -Lewis Hine - The Man Who Kick-Started the End to Child Labor: Merritt Scherm, Tenley Daniel, Bennett Barnes, and Hollyn Watkins
3rd Place - W.H. Fuller's Experimental Crop in 1906-1907: Cason Rodgers, Thomas Turner
