“A Clear-and-Present Danger”
Ever since Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, it’s been there. What is it?
“A clear-and-present danger.”
Yes, God told them what would happen if they disobeyed Him: “The day you eat thereof you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:17). And, even though they didn’t drop dead the minute they ate of the “devil’s dainty,” it didn’t take long for them to realize that their sin had “wages:” physical and spiritual death.
Likewise, it didn’t take long to realize how one sin precipitates another: which was evident in Cain’s killing his brother, Abel, and God later destroying the world with a Flood. And, even until today, every sin has a “wage” or consequence and, ultimately, will be judged by God, a Holy God, Who MUST punish sin.
The people in Noah’s day didn’t believe that even though he preached 120 years while also building the ark. But, the day came when they realized God’s Warning was true and only those inside the ark (Noah, his wife, three sons and three daughters-in-law) were saved from the Flood.
Yes, from then, until now, the Law of the Harvest is true: “Don’t be deceived; God is not mocked—for whatsoever you sow, that shall you also reap” (Galatians 6:7-8). That’s why this message should be boldly preached from every pulpit in America today: because “as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days preceding the coming of the Son of Man” (Matthew 24:36-37).
Yet, sadly, we seldom hear such words of warning today: partly because there’s no fear of God and the Judgment—and partly because the focus is more on making people feel good about themselves instead of calling them to Faith and repentance.
It’s what Paul called the “itching ears syndrome,” where church-attenders want a pastor or preacher to tell them what they want to hear (II Timothy 4:3-4). And, woe to anyone who’d dare preach on the seriousness of sins and its wages: while warning them of the consequence of “drifting” and “neglecting so great a Salvation” (Hebrews 2:1-3).
Dear Reader, did you realize California, Washington and Minnesota have already changed their laws to allow the murder of an abortion survivor up to 28 days AFTER they’re born?? This is legalizing infanticide outside the womb, not just inside of it.
Do you think Almighty God is pleased with this? Not on your life! And, if He punished Israel for participating in child sacrifice to the pagan god, Moloch, by burning them alive, how much greater His Judgment on those who sanction and participate in infanticide!
Likewise, did you realize that Israel is set to host the Middle East’s largest-ever LGQBT near the Dead Sea on June 1-4, 2026? It’s a festival called “Pride Land” and it plans to create a colorful city in the middle of the Judean Desert during those four days.
But, have they forgotten that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God for the same sins of homosexuality in Abraham’s Day (Genesis 19:1-29)? If so, it’s because God has already “given them up” and “turned them over to a reprobate (perverse, perverted) mind because they don’t fear Him or the coming Judgment” (Romans 1:18-32).
Could it be that they’re setting themselves up for another October 7 experience, even though they’re convinced they’re still God’s “chosen people” and He’ll protect them?? I guess that remains to be seen.
But, Beloved, again, God is not mocked: and I wouldn’t want to be living in those states that have sanctioned infanticide or participating in the Pride Land festivities in Israel on June 1-4.
Yes, if there was ever a time we need to believe “it’s appointed unto man once to die—and after this, the Judgment” (Heb. 9:27), it’s now.
Hope you’ll join me in praying for our nation, Israel and the world right now: because I hear God’s chariots rumbling in the distance and woe to those who don’t fear Him or ignore Him—because “It’s a fearful thing to fall into the Hands of the living God” (Heb. 10:31).
Help us, O God.
