Game 1. Stuttgart 3 Lonoke 9
Stuttgart Ricebirds had trouble keeping up with Lonoke Varsity Jackrabbits in a 9-3 loss on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Peyton Wallace earned the win for Lonoke Varsity Jackrabbits. The hurler gave up four hits and three runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out 14 and walking one.
Jay Griffin took the loss for Stuttgart Ricebirds. The pitcher went three innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking two.
Dagan Duncan started the game for Stuttgart Ricebirds. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and seven runs (six earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking five.
Dagan Duncan, Harper Feilke, Griffin, and Beau Barnes each collected one hit for Stuttgart Ricebirds.

Stuttgart Earns Big Conference Win Over Lonoke
The Stuttgart DiamondBirds sought and earned revenge capturing a
9-2 victory against conference rivals Lonoke Jackrabbits on Wednesday, April 15 in Lonoke.
Sophomore Nathan Spoon was calm on the mound as he earned the win for the Birds. Spoon surrendered four hits , two runs ( one earned) over six innings, striking out two and walking two. Axton McCrea tossed one inning of no hit, no run, baseball striking out one and walking one.
The Ricebirds collected eleven hits in the must win conference battle. Braxton Kirkdoffer, Hayden Prine, Jay Griffin, and Brilon Hogan each had two hits.
Dagan Duncan, Harper Feilke, and Beau Barnes contributed with each recording singles. Austin Fontenot, Kirkdoffer, Spoon and Griffin each drove in runs in the Birds quest for victory.
The win improves Stuttgart’s conference record to 4-2, a half game behind Lonoke. The DiamondBirds are currently second in 4A-6 baseball
standings. This week the Birds continue conference play with Southside Batesville.
