Logsdon Receives Award
Fonda Logsdon started being an Adult Scout in 1980.. She took over the Scout Day Camp after Flossie Cooper passed away.
In 1993, she received the District Award of Merit from the Great Grand Prairie District when Bill Hayes was the District Executive. Logsdon has also been to Commissioner’s College and has been Unit Commissioner. She has also received the James West Award and in 2009, she received the Silver Beaver award.
This year, Logsdon received the First Annual Ramona Sitz Legacy Award. Sitz was a long time Scouter. She served as Mama Bear at Cove Creek Scout Camp, when Logsdon’s son went to Boy Scout Camp.
Logsdon said, “She inspected my Cub Scout Day Camp for many years, here in Stuttgart. We became great friends. When her health wouldn’t let her continue in Scouting, the ladies still kept in touch. I feel very honored to be selected for this Award.”

If you see Scouts anywhere, most likely you will see Logsdon. Congratulations to Logsdon for her recognition from Scouts..
A healthy Arkansas County requires great community news.
