Letter to the Editor

Well, I just spent an hour picking up trash around my block....people, please! Put a trash sack in your car, put your trash in your sack and throw it away WHEN you get HOME and put it in your own trash receptacle....your water bottles, soda cans, pizza boxes (yes, pizza boxes!!) , fast food containers, soft drink cups and whatever else people think they have to throw out to clutter OUR roadways....do you know what happens to YOUR trash?  It gets washed into the drain and clogs up the sewers and then who complains about the BIG bill we have to pay to get it fixed?  Why, YOU do, who caused the problem in the first place.

It’s such a small thing, for EACH ONE of us to just keep our own trash in our own car and take it HOME....Think of how nice everything would look, no trash littering the streets, let’s all of us CARE about our town, keep it CLEAN.
