Strange Complaints

You know, I was going to write about how I've been doing health-wise since my last column, but thankfully there's nothing much to write about. The new medicines had helped a ton and with a little tweaking on dosage I think I'll be in the pink.

I'll know for sure in two days as I have an appointment.

Besides the new pill, what's been helping me the most has been just throwing some earbuds in and listening to music whenever I can feel myself getting a bit anxious. Bill Withers in me ears is darn near the perfect thing to soothe my nerves.

It's made me realize how much music means to me and how little I know nowadays of the local musicians in Arkansas County. Back when I worked for the print version of the Daily Leader (which ended operations in 2019) I had the pleasure of local musicians coming through where I could give their music a listen and then write about them, maybe helping others like myself who had been missing out.

Well, I'd love to offer up my ears and occasionally my column space towards doing that again. If you're a local artist or band and have a CD or digital files you can email me or a SoundCloud to share... I want to hear what your talent has to say,

Whether Blues, Rock, Metal, HipHop, Country or Gospel... my ears don't discriminate, and my fingers are itching to type about what I've heard.
