Jackie Oneita Hynum

Jackie Oneita Hynum, 85, of DeWitt passed away July 18, 2024. She was born April 15, 1939, in Stanford, TX.

Jackie was an Air Force wife for many years and traveled the world with her family. After her husband's retirement, they settled with their family in DeWitt. Jackie was a member of First Baptist Church of DeWitt and had a great love for her family, community, and church. Her two biggest hobbies were taking care of her family and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Virgil Hynum; her daughter Peggy Hynum; her mother Oneita Williams; and her parents-in-law Odis and Bessie Hynum.

Jackie is survived by her daughter Tammie Hynum of Little Rock; her brother Robert Paul Terrell (Phyllis) of Kaufman, TX; and dear friends Penny Wilson and Robin Pattillo.
