Arthur Vernon “Butch” McGhee

Butch McGhee departed from this life on May 22, 2024, at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Ar.

Arthur Vernon “Butch” McGhee was born on July 24, 1947, in DeWitt Arkansas to James Alfred and Bertie Mae McGhee. Butch served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. He earned his associate degree from University of Arkansas, Phillips County in Criminal Law. After 20 years of service, he retired from Law Enforcement.

Butch was proceeded in death by his parents, James Alfred McGhee, and Bertie Mae McGhee. His three sisters, Anna Mae McGhee, Edna Bennett, and Carolyn Cates. His granddaughter, Mallori Mack.

Butch is survived by his daughter, April McGhee of Stuttgart, Ar. His son Aaron McGhee and wife Shannon of Owasso, OK. Two grandsons, Drew Mack and wife Robin of Stuttgart, Ar. Patrick McGhee, Active Military Fort Hood Texas, Granddaughter, Katelyn McGhee, Owasso OK. One great grandson, AJ Mack of Stuttgart, Ar. Two brothers, JD McGhee and wife Carolyn of Longview, TX. Aubrey McGhee and wife Sue of Dewitt, AR. Butch was also an uncle, great-uncle and great-great uncle to many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Services were May 26th at the First Assembly of God church in DeWitt, Arkansas.
