Betty Mae Paxton Ward

Betty Mae Paxton Ward, age 79, was born June 10, 1944, in DeWitt, Arkansas, to Eldon James (Jim) Paxton and Ida Myrtle Lincomfelt Paxton, and entered her Heavenly home on April 8, 2024.

Betty was of the Baptist faith and loved her Lord and family. Betty was the third oldest of ten children.

Betty loved to cook, but her favorite thing was making peanut brittle for her family and friends, which she would do often.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jim Norman Ward; daughter Machell Lynn Ward Pace; son-in-law William (Bugs) Pace; four sisters Katherine Davidson, Blanche Arthur, Joyce Henderson, and Margie Coker; and one brother James (Dood) Paxton.

Betty is survived by her daughter Elisa Lynn Ward; two sisters Norma (Jerry) Childers and Brenda Fread; two brothers Bob (Susan) Paxton and Bill (Tina) Paxton all of DeWitt; grandchildren Krystal (James) Dozier of Thibodaux, LA, Ashlee Key of Little Rock, AR, Michael Key and Angelia Key of Conway, AR; and many nieces and nephews.
