Bill's Corner of the World

Hi Everyone! I know some of you don't believe this statement but I have been keeping a low profile. Yes, I told you, you wouldn’t believe it. It is the Winter months. I have been reading a lot of books from the Stuttgart Public Library. I have kept up with my volunteering here in the northern part of the county, with my RSVP duties, helping over at the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce, and the Stuttgart Public Library, my favorite, reading to the little ones and their mothers.

As most of you know, I love to cook, but cooking for one person is just not very fun at all, except eating it. I love to cook my recipes and they are really fun, even if they don't taste like her cooking did. She could make the best Pecan Pie in Arkansas County. My cousin on my mother's side wife, who lives in Texas is going to make a cookbook for our next reunion. All our Aunt's recipes are going to be in there. I could not exclude my mother's favorite Potato Salad.

I don't know about you all, but I'm getting hungry. Just talking or writing by food makes me hungry and when I walk in a kitchen when people are cooking, I can gain ten pounds, just walking through. One other dish is called "Dump Cake," which has just about everything sweet in it. Now, I want to tell you, it is real good and rich in taste and flavor. I am sure by now I have gotten you hungry.
