Selah Montgomery

Selah Montgomery was born to the late Oliver Montgomery and Mamie Montgomery on April 7th, 1947, in Casscoe, Arkansas.

He attended Immanuel School in Almyra, Arkansas; a graduate of 1965 class. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Wofford Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Casscoe, Arkansas. 

Selah served his country in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970. After returning from the war, he worked at Riceland foods for 20 years.

On Wednesday, January 24th, 2024 Selah transitioned from earthly sorrow into heavenly peace. He was preceded in death by both parents, Oliver and Mamie Montgomery,; brothers, Kermit and Oliver Montgomery.

Selah leaves to cherish his precious memories one son, Selah Montgomery II; and three daughters, Shelia Montgomery-Dixon (Leon), Chundra Montgomery (Sandra), Edith Montgomery; one sister, Gladys Guydon; brother, Curtis Montgomery (Renee); ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
