STONE BANK TO HOST RETIREMENT RECEPTION FOR FRIZZELL ON DEC. 13, 1 TO 3 P.M.
Stone Bank will host a retirement reception for long-time employee Darleen Frizzell on
Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1 to 3 p.m. at the bank’s location at 215 S. Jefferson St. in DeWitt.
Customers and friends are encouraged to stop by and visit with Darleen and enjoy
refreshments.
Frizzell, who is a Customer Service Representative, has been with the bank for over 38 years
and joined the bank in 1985 as a teller when the bank was DeWitt Bank and Trust Company.
The bank merged with Stone Bank in 2019.
She has held various positions with the bank including Human Resource Manager, Marketing
Director and Loan Processor.
“To say that Darleen is a major part of our bank in DeWitt is an understatement,” said David
Jessup, the bank’s market president. “She has literally been the face of the bank and a major
reason so many people bank with us. We will miss her a great deal but wish her a happy and
adventurous retirement.”
“With 4 grandchildren and two in DeWitt 3 years old and under, I’ll be busy,” said Frizzell. “I
plan to spoil my family and make a lot of DD’s Jellies and Jams again along with exploring other
opportunities. Who knows, I just might start making Tik Tok videos.”
Frizzell is married to Mark Frizzell, who is manager of DeWitt Fertilizer Company. They are
members of First Baptist Church and have two married sons, three grandchildren and another
on the way.
