White Named 2023 Volunteer of the Year

“I’ll do whatever you need!” are words spoken by Jennifer “Pooh” White throughout the year. White, an active volunteer in the Stuttgart community volunteers countless hours each year for different events, including the Annual Wings Over the Prairie Festival.

Each year, the festival recognizes those who help by volunteering their time, putting in the hard work, and being dedicated to the overall success of the annual event, and this year’s 2023 Volunteer of the Year went to Jennifer “Pooh” White.

White recently took over managing the promo booth during the annual event, with the help of her youth group, where she manages counting, stocking, and selling all the festival promotional items during the festival.

Bethany Hildebrand of the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce stated, “Volunteers like Pooh make our jobs so much easier. We appreciate her dependability and dedication more than we can ever express.”
