DeWitt Senior Citizens Center Awarded AAASEA Senior Center of the Year

Senior citizens centers across the state provide opportunities for seniors to be active, enjoy social activities, and improve their overall quality of life. Centers provide games and activities, special luncheons and dinners, and assist senior citizens throughout the year.

Over the past year, the DeWitt Senior Citizens Center has gone above and beyond for local senior citizens in DeWitt by offering programs, encouraging senior citizens to attend many events, and so much more, and their hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed as they have been awarded the AAASEA Senior Center of the Year.

Johnnie Sue Davis, Manager at DeWitt Senior Citizens Center, stated, “Every year a center is chosen. October 31, 2016 was my first day of being manager and almost seven years later, we were picked for Center of the Year.”
