Myrtle Katherine "Kitty" Paxton Davidson

Myrtle Katherine "Kitty" Paxton Davidson, age 83, entered her heavenly home Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was born February 5, 1940, in DeWitt to the late Eldon (Jim) ad Ida Myrtle Paxton. She was the oldest of 10 children.

Katherine loved the Lord, her family, and her church family, Faith Baptist Church.

Katherine is survived by her sons, Larry (Larissa) Davidson of Pittsburgh, PA, and John Davidson of Bryant; three grandchildren Courtney, William, and Anastasiya; and five great grandsons. She is also survived by her siblings Bob (Susan) Paxton, Bill (Tina) Paxton, Betty Ward, Norma (Jerry) Childers and Brenda Fread all of DeWitt, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Davidson, son Richard Davidson, grandson Brett Davidson, brother James "Dood" Paxton, sisters Blanche Arthur, Joyce Henderson, and Margie Coker.

Funeral services were May 20 at Faith Baptist Church. Burial was in Pine Crest Cemetery in Bryant, AR. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Make A Wish Foundation, 320 Executive Ct., #101, Little Rock, AR 72205. www.essexfuneralhome.com
