Lillian Ann Tibbett Edwards

Lillian Ann Tibbett Edwards, 78, of Almyra passed away on May 13, 2023. She was born on December 22, 1944, to William and Gladys Hartsook Tibbett. 

She loved her family and spending time with them, and was Mama Lil and Mamaw Lil to many other people besides her family. Lillian loved all of her family, but her pride and joy was her great grandson, Levi! Lillian loved going to church at Almyra Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, canning anything from jams and jellies to salsa, and going on Amish trips. 

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 41 years, Shelby Edwards; brothers Clarence and William "Junior" Tibbett; and sisters Faye Dawes, Emogene Simpson, Margurite Campbell, and Gloria Campbell. 

She is survived by her three children Curtis Edwards and Jennifer Riesenberg of Bella Vista, Sonya and Jimmy James and Renee and Scotty Poor all of Almyra; grandchildren Gunnar James, Emily Edwards and Dominic Fletcher, Makenzie and Jacob Boyd, Andrew Edwards, Addison and Morgan Vansickle, Jace Dondanville, Katlin Hogue, and Riley Poor; great grandson Levi Boyd; brother Hallie and Merna Tibbett; sister-in-law Clytine Edwards; a special niece April Herring and her family; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation was held at 1:00 p.m. May 16 at Essex Funeral Home. Funeral services began at 2:00 with burial following at Thompson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Almyra Methodist Youth, P.O. Box 222, Almyra, AR 72003.  www.essexfuneralhome.com
