Douglas Paul Matthews, 68, of St. Charles died March 8, 2023. He was born December 21, 1954, in Little Rock to Bobby Matthews and Audrey Criswell Matthews McKinley.
Doug was a carpenter and a musician on the weekends.
He was preceded in death by his father and daughter, Jackie Matthews.
Doug is survived by his wife Sabrina Matthews of St. Charles; son Shane Matthews of Ward; daughter Michelle Matthews of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; mother and stepfather Audrey and Rocky McKinley of Jacksonville; and two sisters Cathy McGee and Jeanie Coleman both of Jacksonville.
Funeral services were March 13 at Essex Funeral Home with burial in Chute Cemetery. www.essexfuneralhome.com
