Carol John "Dorty" Duncan Simpson

Carol John "Dorty" Duncan Simpson went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 7, 2022, at the age of 77.

She was born April 24, 1945, to John and Ruby Duncan. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Phil Simpson; sisters, Betty Nutt and Terri Shepherd.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Wilford Simpson; daughter, Vickie James (Rickey); son, Darin Simpson (Marcy); grandchildren, Jessica West (Chris), Ty Simpson (Tosha), and Bailey Bigham (Justin); great grandchildren, Madison James, Destiny, Abby, Ryker, and Teagan West, Grayden and Millie Simpson, and Beau Bigham; brother Jeff Duncan; a special companion, "Speedy" and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Hagler Southern Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, where she helped on the farm and kept the guys fed.
