Donnie Gene Stroh

Donnie Gene Stroh, 93, of DeWitt passed away August 4, 2022. He was born October 27, 1928, in Stuttgart to Herbert X. and Wanda Belleville Stroh.

Donnie was a retired farmer and a member of DeLuce Prairie Union Methodist Church. He was a member of the Farm Bureau board, the White River Irrigation Project board, and was past president of the Arkansas County Fair board.

Donnie married Delma Jean White on January 17, 1947.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Perry Stroh, and one brother Gale Stroh.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Delma Stroh; his children Tanya Wilson (Leon) of DeWitt and Billy Don Stroh (Kathleen) of Heber Springs; daughter-in-law Sabrina Stroh Cooper (Barry) of Almyra; seven grandchildren Lance Stroh (Hope), Seth Wilson, Courtney Neal (Richard), Devin Wilson (Penny), Jarrod Stroh (Angie), Slade Stroh (Tiffany), and Stahley Seeman (Shane); great grandchildren Lane, Kaitlyn, Cooper, Reese, Mack, Ava, Zoey, Brigsley, Dane, Denton, Mackenzie, Maddie, and Molly; and one brother Glenn Dale Stroh of Almyra.

Visitation was from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, August 7 at Essex Funeral Home. Graveside services followed at DeWitt Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice
