Sharon Kay McBroom McElroy

Sharon Kay McBroom McElroy, 70, of DeWitt passed away June 15, 2022. She was born April 20, 1952, in DeWitt to James and Catherine McGahhey McBroom.

Sharon married Jim McElroy on May 30, 1970.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon is survived by her husband Jim; her son Jamie McElroy (Laura Stackhouse) of DeWitt; grandson Jake Evan McElroy of Bella Vista; and two sisters Sheila Shook of DeWitt and Carolyn Cummings of Carlisle.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 18, 2022, beginning at 9 am at Essex Funeral Home, with funeral services at 10 am. Burial will be at DeWitt Cemetery.
