Elsie J. Watkins

Elsie J. Watkins, 86, went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2022. She was born November 20, 1935, in Arkansas County to Chester and Alice Price.

She was a homemaker and member of Eastside Baptist Church. Elsie loved cooking, spending time with her family, and helping others.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tommy R. Watkins; sister Maxine Owens; and two brothers Cecil and Charles Price.

She is survived her two sons Terry Watkins and Rick Watkins; four grandchildren Heidi Finley (Kenny), John Watkins (Roxanne), Andrew Watkins, and Chi-Ann Watkins; six great grandchildren Aleena, Carlee, and Ashlyn Finley and Dezarae, Sean, and Mikayla Watkins; sister Ruby George Tippin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. on June 15 at Faith Baptist Church with burial in Forks LaGrue Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
