PCCUA-DeWitt Student Ambassadors Donate to Local Non-Profits

by Charlotte Purdy

The PCCUA-DeWitt Student Ambassadors recently held a bake sale to raise funds for the DeWitt Food Pantry and Passionate Paws. The Ambassadors wanted to give back to the community through their bake sale, so they chose the two non-profits as their recipients and began planning for a bake sale.

The bake sale was held on Friday, April 15, on the Court Square and included items such as cakes, cupcakes, and much more. Each of the Student Ambassadors went above and beyond baking the items for the bake sale and it did not take long for them to have a complete sell out, thanks to the many community members who stopped by and made purchases.

Students selected for the PCCUA-DeWitt Student Ambassadors represent the college during various community activities, host fundraising events throughout the year, and must maintain a certain GPA while they are enrolled in courses on campus.
