Inmate Escapes From ARCO Detention Center

Update as of 8:36 a.m.

According to a social media post by Arkansas County Sheriff Todd Wright, the inmate is back in custody.

A deputy with the Arkansas County Detention Center announced on social media that an inmate had escaped from the jail on June 18, 2020.

John Thurman Idom from Sherwood, AR was last seen wearing white boxers and a white t-shirt, running North from the jail.
