DeWitt School District Students Go Back to Wearing a Mask

by Charlotte Purdy

Due to the rising number of positive COVID cases in the DeWitt School District and Arkansas County, DSD students will be required to wear a mask at school beginning Tuesday, January 18, 2022. This requirement will continue for at least two weeks to allow the positive case numbers to decrease. We will report any changes made when they are announced by the DeWitt School District.

In the meantime, here are some tips for staying healthy during the COVID pandemic include:

Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds

Keep at least three feet of distance from others

Steer clear of crowded areas

Clean and disinfect everything

Avoid touching your face

Eat a healthy diet

Exercise regularly

Get at least seven hours of sleep each night

Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer

Avoid sharing personal items
