Arkansas Post National Memorial Closes Visitor Center

The Arkansas Post Visitor Center is currently closed on the advice of the Center for Disease Control and state and local public health agencies in consultation with National Park Service public health officials.  The visitor center will open as soon as it is permitted to do so.

 
The park grounds will remain open and accessible to visitors.  Social distancing should be maintained while outdoors. Any surfaces that were likely contacted by another individual should be sanitized before touching them.

 
Park staff will be patrolling the park grounds and trails and will be available to answer questions.  No programs or events will be held until the Park is fully opened.  Restrooms will be available at the picnic area, but not at the visitor center.
